Marriott Bonvoy's fall sale is on, but you only have a few days to save up to 25% on your next stay at one of more than 4,000 participating hotels across 30-plus brands worldwide. That, of course, includes hotels in some of our favorite fall foliage hot spots, as well as some beachy destinations (for travelers who aren't quite ready to usher in the colder months).

You need to book quickly if you want to save. This deal is only valid for bookings made between Sept. 10 and 14, for stays between Sept. 15 and Nov. 30. You can save 20% when you book online, and Marriott Bonvoy members who book through the app can save 25%.

Here's everything you need to know before you book your autumn getaway.

Postcard Cabins Big Bear in California. MARRIOTT

This sale can help you save on your next outdoor adventure when you book a private cabin at California's Postcard Cabins Big Bear. We found rates as low as $162 for nights in late September. If you book at the standard rate, you'll pay $196 per night for the same cabin — that's a savings of $34 on a one-night stay.

Availability for these specially priced rooms is extremely limited, so you need to book quickly to take advantage of the discount.

Or, you could go the sunny route with a stay at the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center. A regularly priced room on Thanksgiving runs $362 a night — but during the sale period, you can get it for just $285 per night. The resort has several on-site restaurants, so you can relax and enjoy the holiday rather than spending the day watching your meat thermometer.
